Woolas backs Early Day Motion 127

Phil Woolas said "As a Shadow Minister, it is not the convention to sign Early Day Motions which are for back bench opinion. However, in this situation, I have written to the Foreign Secretary giving my full support to Motion number 127 tabled by my Labour colleague, Richard Burden MP.

I was appalled by the attack and by the loss of life. I fully support the position adopted by Shadow Foreign Secretary, David Miliband MP and was pleased by the urgent, worldwide condemnation of this act. Israel must change its stance for its own benefit as well as the Palestinians"
